At our school, an International Advisory Board composed of experienced educators from different regions of the world is actively working. Board members contribute to the development of our institution with different perspectives and strong educational experiences.
Lisa Smith, who served as principal at our school in 2014-2015, currently serves as principal at a public school in Nova Scotia, Canada. Doğa Demirsü, one of our founders, has been leading our middle and high school campus in Toronto since 2017, and this year our Toronto school has transitioned to the IB program. Sema Kızılkaya, the founder of Keystone and Kilittaşı Schools, currently serves as General Manager at Istanbul Kilittaşı School.
The International Advisory Board works in close cooperation with the CEO to provide strategic guidance and contribute to the development of educational practices in line with global standards.

Lisa Smith serves as Vice Principal of Valley Elementary School in Nova Scotia, Canada. She worked as principal at Keystone Schools during the 2014-2015 academic year. Working with Lisa was a great joy for us, and now we are excited to see her on our advisory team. Lisa's husband Trevor loved the city very much during their time working in Istanbul. The couple has two adorable dogs: Dunkin and Donut. One of these dogs was with them during their time in Istanbul. Also, Lisa and Trevor love discovering new places and traveling.
Doğa Demirsü-Doran
Principal of Keystone School Toronto (Grades 7-12)
Doğa Demirsü-Doran is the principal of Keystone School (Grades 7-12), a private school in Toronto known for project-based learning and a supportive environment. Doğa holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UMass and a Master's degree in Global Leadership from McGill University. Under her leadership, Keystone is expanding its international and local student base while progressing towards becoming an IB school. Doğa has also served as a director on the McGill Toronto Alumni Board for years. With her vision of excellence in education, strategic approach, and strong foundation in school management, she is a valuable name for any board of directors.
Sema Kızılkaya

Sema Kızılkaya is an experienced educator who has been actively involved in the education world since 1991. Starting from preschool education, she has expanded her vision over the years and contributed to the academic and personal development of students aged 3-18. She believes that education should go beyond transferring knowledge and prepare individuals to be flexible, creative, and equipped with life skills. Kızılkaya, who shapes the educational approach at Kilittaşı Schools according to these principles, values multilingualism, healthy living habits, and students' ability to adapt to a rapidly changing world. As a member of the Advisory Board, she contributes to the development of innovative and student-centered approaches in education with her years of experience.
