Curriculum-Supporting Activities and Trips
Trips and activities are integral elements of our educational program at Kilittaşı & Keystone, aiming to provide students with a different perspective by making changes in the learning environment and routines. These experiences help internalize learning outcomes by triggering curiosity.
Trips
These out-of-class activities reinforce in-class learning through participation, examination, and observation to answer students' questions about the subject. All our trips are planned in connection with the curriculum and designed considering students' educational needs and developmental goals according to their grade levels.
These trips, which not only support students' academic development, also play an important role in the development of social skills. While learning becomes fun and engaging, students find opportunities to express themselves in various social situations, communicate, and accumulate unforgettable memories.
Activities
At Kilittaşı & Keystone, our extracurricular activities are among our students' favorite activities, enriching the educational experience. These activities offer our students opportunities to discover their passions, develop their skills, and showcase their creativity in a supportive environment.
Round Square
As a Round Square member, our school enriches its curriculum within the framework of IDEALS (Internationalism, Democracy, Environment, Adventure, Leadership, Service). This approach nurtures students as active and conscious world citizens by supporting their academic learning with a global perspective, leadership, social responsibility, and experiential learning.
House System
The House System implemented at our school strengthens students' sense of belonging by supporting the curriculum with academic, social, and sports activities. Through inter-house activities, students develop teamwork, leadership, and collaboration skills while the learning process extends beyond the classroom.
In Debate activities, students develop skills such as gathering evidence, supporting their arguments, managing stress, and organizing processes by discussing opposing ideas.
Our Junior MUN program enables students to gain vital skills such as public speaking about global issues, diplomacy, and critical thinking while promoting leadership and self-confidence.
Through hands-on activities such as Robotics, students discover engineering and problem-solving skills while finding opportunities to develop an international perspective and serve the community through Round Square initiatives.
While creativity and strategic thinking skills are supported through activities such as Chess and mind games, our art, music, and sports programs help students discover their talents and increase their self-confidence.
These diverse opportunities provide our students with essential life skills while enabling them to make meaningful connections and accumulate unforgettable memories.
